How to Apply a Fixed Refresh Rate on Your Papercast Devices
How to Apply a Fixed Refresh Rate on Your Papercast Devices?
What is the Fixed Refresh Rate?
The fixed refresh rate determines the screen refresh speed. Increasing the refresh rate will significantly reduce your device’s energy consumption. This will extend the battery life of your devices and ensure their proper functioning. The refresh rate thus determines the minimum duration between transitions to the next clips.
A minimum refresh rate of one minute is required for Papercast devices to ensure the device’s longevity. A higher rate may also be preferable for devices with solar power mode.
How to Apply or Modify a Fixed Refresh Rate?
-
Select the desired device and open the modification window.
-
Ensure that the “fixed refresh rate” box is checked and choose the rate you want.
-
Save your changes to ensure they are applied.
