There are several steps that are required to make text to speech features available in an ITESlive display. The first step in making this type of content available is to create a text to speech data provider.
Important: It is important to note that there are configurations that need to be completed on the ITESMEDIA side to ensure that the ITESlive solution's text to speech features are available to you. You must reach out to us to obtain the required information for the data provider's configuration.
Once you have logged onto the ITESlive Studio, click on the "Configuration" tab and select the "Data provider management" entry.
Expand the tree on the left-hand side of the window and click on the account group in which you wish to create the data provider. If you do not already have a folder in which you will be storing the data provider, click on the "New folder" button.
If you are creating a folder, give the folder a name and click the "Save" button.
Select the folder in which you will be creating the data provider in the tree on the left-hand side of the window. Then, click on the "New data provider" button at the top of the window.
In the dropdown in the center of the new window, select the "MicrosoftCognitiveServicesTextToSpeechDataProvider" entry.
Once you have selected the correct data provider type, click on the "Save" button.
You may enter the name of your choosing for the data provider, but the other two fields will be provided by ITESMEDIA. Once the information in this section has been completed you can click on the icon that represents a "floppy disk" to save the configurations.
Once you've applied the configurations, the data provider will appear under the selected folder in the tree.
