1. Why create a new data provider

The data providers on the ITESLIVE Studio are used to broadcast several types of data, such as it is the case with the public transit information. If you are planning to change your data's production method (new API or new equipment), the creation of a new data provider will give you the opportunity to test your new data before its production release.

2. How to create a new data provider

1. On the ITESLIVE Studio, click on the configuration tab and select the data provider management.
   
2. If your account group does not already contain a folder containing a data provide, click the new folder button.
   
3. Write a name for the folder and click the save button
   
4. Once you have created a folder or have selected an existing folder, click on it in the list and click the new data provider button
   
5. Click on the drop-down list in the new data provider window
   
   
   
6. The list will present all of the available data provider types for your account, select the desired provider type and click the save button
   
   
   
7. Enter the required information for the data provider to function. The fields that the window proposes at this point will vary according to the type of data provider you selected to create. There is one field that is common to all data provides and it is the name that you will give the newly created provider.
   

1. Once you have entered all of the required information, click on the icon that represents a floppy disk.
