What is a data provider?
This entity allows the ITESLIVE displays to retrieve information from an external source according to a predetermined logic.
For instance, GTFS is a commonly used public transit data format. Thus, there is a GTFS data provider that will analyze a transit authority's data according to the Google's specifications.

We also use this entity in real estate digital signage projects. Seeing as there are several real estate boards that produce the real estate data, there are also data providers that analyze the information according to each board's specifications that are used in real estate displays.
Note: In any case, data transfer agreements must be completed according to the appropriate real estate board's prerequisites. Simply using the data provider in the ITESLIVE software will not make the real estate data available for your display.
When a data provider in used in a signage project, this is also the entity that is used to specify the location where the display can retrieve the external data that needs to be used.
Is it possible to have a custom data provider?
You have an API and you wish to display data from this API on your signage network. It is indeed possible to integrate this resource as a data provider for your digital signage project. We work with several forms of external data such as public transit data, real estate data, hall rentals and events, directories, etc.
