How to manage incoming alerts

Configure alerts you receive about the status of your media players.

1. Go to the “Edit Your Profile” window

To get to the “Edit Your Profile” window, scroll over the gear icon at the top right of the screen and click “Edit Your Profile.”

2. Select the alerts you wish to receive

Activate the checkbox to the left of the alert types you wish to receive.EN_02

Receive connection alerts

Alerts that are sent when a display is no longer connected to the ITESLIVE services. There can be multiple reasons to explain this disconnection:

  • The device has lost its internet connection (Wi-fi or cable);
  • The device is currently powered off;
  • The device is no longer connected to the electricity.

Receive hardware alerts

Alerts that indicate an abnormal usage of the hardware of the device that is broadcasting your display.

  • RAM usage
  • CPU load
  • Processor temperature
  • Low disk space remaining on a drive

Receive external hardware alerts

Certain display devices are connected to external hardware that monitors their environment or that are used as a controller for the monitor that is connected to it. These alerts are warnings produced by this external hardware or an alert indicating that the ITESLIVE software has lost communication with the external hardware.

Receive network issue alerts

Alerts that are sent if network issues, such as an unstable connection to the ITESLIVE services , occur.

Receive operating system maintenance alerts

Alerts that indicate that there are pending updates for the display device's operating system or that the display device's operating system is obsolete.

Receive software alerts

Alerts that typically indicate an issue that occured in the ITESLIVE software.

  • A brief description of the problem or alert for which you are reaching out to us.

Receive external content alerts

Alerts that are sent when there is a problem with a specific external data clip, this alert can affect any external type data.RSS

  • XML
  • JSON
  • CSV
  • Excel
  • Twitter
  • etc.

  • Name of the affected player
  • Name of the affected clip
  • A brief description of the problem or alert for which you are reaching out to us.

Receive bandwidth alerts

Alerts that are sent when there is abnormal network usage occurring.

Receive management alerts

Alerts that are sent when an account group in the ITESLIVE Studio is expired.

Receive transport data alerts

Alerts that are sent when there is a problem or a warning in regard to a transit authority's data.

Receive in app notifications

Allows the ITESLIVE Studio to show notifications in the top right corner of the screen during your session. These notifications are generated when an alert becomes active.

Receive daily summary mail

Allows you to receive a daily summary, according to the time you choose, that contains all alerts that occurred in the last 24 hours.

Receive mail feed

Allows you to receive all selected alert types in real time.

Allow email notifications while logged in the studio

Allows alert emails to be sent while you are connected to the Studio.

Allow multiple email notifications between studio sessions

Allows alert emails to be sent after you have logged out of the ITESLIVE Studio.

Allow email notifications of non critical alerts

Allows non critical alerts to be sent by email.
