How to add a new display screen to the network

When a project is delivered to a client, their account already includes at least one group, one site, one screen, and one screen layout. This article explains how to easily add a new display screen to this network.

1. Click on your group account

Click on your group account, identifiable by the planet-shaped icon.

2. Click on the gear icon to the right of the group account

3. Click on “New Site”

Select “New Site.” A window will open allowing you to name this site.

4. Name your site

It is recommended to choose a name that represents the location, such as “Cafeteria” or “Main Entrance,” to easily identify the screen. You can also enter the address in the designated field. If you enter the address, you’ll be able to view the locations of your different screens on the map view. Once the information is entered, click “Save.”

5. Click on “Add a Player”

Once the site has been created, you’ll see another gear icon to the right of the site.

Click it, then select “Add a Player.”

In the window that opens, enter the player’s name.
Next, choose the type of player, for example, a Windows display player behind the screen, or a digital signage screen with an integrated SoC such as LG webOS or Tizen, etc.
A drop-down list will show all available options. Then click “Save.”

6. Add a screen

Now that the player has been added, click on the player you just created.
Again, locate the gear icon on the right and select “Add display.”

In the window that appears, enter the screen’s name. You’ll also need to set the resolution, by default, it’s usually 1920x1080, but if the screen is in portrait mode or has a specific resolution, adjust it accordingly.

7. Add a screen layout

You must add a screen layout to your screen. The screen layout defines how your screen is divided into different zones.
