List of content and features not supported on Papercast

Some types of content and features are not supported on Papercast. This list provides a clear overview of the limitations to keep in mind when creating or managing content.

1. Unsupported Videos

Papercast does not support video playback, regardless of format or source. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • All standard video formats (MP4, AVI, MOV, etc.)

  • Videos from online platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, or other similar services

2. GIFs and Other Animated Image Formats

Papercast does not support the display of GIFs or any other animated image formats.

3. Web Pages

The feature that allows web page display is not supported on Papercast screens.

4. Google Content (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets)

Google features are not supported on Papercast screens.

5. PDF Files

Papercast does not support the display of PDF files.

Since Papercast screens are based on e-paper technology, they are not designed to display animated content or content that requires rapid screen refreshes.
