The ITESLIVE Transit API is a service that is used as an intermediary between the media players on your signage network and the GTFS data. The API's objective is to alleviate the data synchronization process for the devices that broadcast them. The ITESLIVE transit API obtains the GTFS data at the specified location for both the scheduled and real time data. The media player calls the API and requests the data for the stops configured in its transport clip, the API then provides it with the data for the requested stops exclusively rather than sending the entire GTFS which requires less data processing resources on the media player.
