What to do if the PIN is invalid

Step-by-Step Guide to Resolve the “Invalid PIN” Error

When you enter a PIN and receive the “Invalid PIN” message, several factors may be causing the issue. Follow these steps to resolve the problem:

1. Confirm the PIN is Entered Correctly

First, make sure that you’ve entered the PIN exactly as displayed on the screen. Even a single incorrect character can prevent validation.

2. Check that the Screen or Player is Connected to the Network

Using the remote control or a mouse connected to the device, go to the network settings and verify whether the device is connected to a network.

If no network is connected, select the appropriate network and enter the password to establish a connection. Once connected, re-enter the PIN.

3. Check Internet Access

If the device is connected to a network, you now need to ensure that it can access the Internet:

  • Using the remote control or mouse connected to the device, open a web browser.
  • Visit: https://itesmedia.tv
  • If the website loads correctly, the device has Internet access.
  • If the website does not load, proceed to the next step to verify the firewall settings.

4. Check Allowed Domains and Ports on the Firewall

Even if the device is connected to the Internet, a firewall may be blocking certain domains or ports required to communicate with ITESlive servers, resulting in an invalid PIN.

Please refer to the list of domains and ports that must be allowed:

Domains and ports to authorize in your firewall

Once the necessary domains and ports are authorized, try entering the PIN again.

5. Generate a new PIN

If all the above steps have been completed and the issue persists, generate a new PIN.
